Alana De La Garza is a stunning actress who has left a lasting impression on the tiny screen. Her parents are the Irish-Americans and Mexicans. The actress was born in Columbus, Ohio on the 26th of December in 1976. De La Garza moved to Texas for the purpose of pursuing the career of physical therapist in the University of Texas. De La Garza did not reside in Texas for long and soon made the move into Orlando Florida, where she took on a number of roles as an actor including commercials and local film productions. Although she only had a few parts, she began to realize her love for acting. In 2001, she emigrated into New York where her first role was on All My Children's daytime soap opera, playing Rosa Santos. Throughout the early 2000s she had small appearances in JAG Las Vegas and Two and a Half Men. The role she landed was in the year 2004 on the short dramatic The Mountain. De La Garza starred as Maria Serrano alongside top TV stars such as Barbara Hershey Oliver Hudson Penn Badgley, Anson Mount, and Mitch Pileggi. Her most memorable performance was on Law & Order where she appeared as A.D.A. Connie Rubirosa. She was on the show for 85 episodes. The character from her Law & Order: LA spinoff, which was not long-lasting. This particular character earned De La Garza various nominations like Best Supporting Actress - Television at the Imagen Foundation Awards and even several ALMA Award noms. In addition, the National Hispanic Media Coalition awarded her the Impact Award, which is awarded for exceptional performances on the drama TV series. De La Garza was then selected as a actor in CSI Miami. She appeared as Marisol Deko as the husband of David Caruso's persona Horatio Caine. Her most recent TV appearance was on NBC's somewhat dramatic dark thriller Do No Harm as Dr. Lena Solis. Alyssa Milano was cancelled by NBC in the first two episodes. Milano's career began at age seven the time her babysitter drove for an audition. Milano was among four girls chosen from thousands of hopefuls. Milano performed in television advertisements and off-Broadway shows including the first American musical rendition of Jane Eyre.
